So awhile back I created a a DHTML Shuttle Object in HTML DB just using standard page objects and some hand coded HTML and javascript. While really nice there were three glaring issues.

  1. To get it working was a pretty hands on affair.

  2. It was really only coded up to to create one shuttle in a page.

  3. Missing sorting options.

So I decided to create a plsql procedure based version that takes care of those issues. example:

Looks like HTML DB might have outgrown the official forums and it spread to a user run wiki, every good software proiduct deserves it's own user wiki :).

I think this is a pretty promising development as it will provide a central location for HTML DB developers to share tips/tricks/pitfalls/code. I really like the browsable aspect of wikis as you learn things about a product or how to use it that you never might have found or even thought about.

Anyway now it's just a matter of getting that content up there. I'm starting my contribution by digging through the forums and look at the questions that I keep having to answer over and over and trying to get them in the wiki in a decent format.

Thanks to John at for the hosting.
